These terms apply when you use YourNurses.io: the website, the AI health assistant, text-message and phone services, and the tools for healthcare professionals. By using the service, you agree to them.
1. What YourNurses.io is
YourNurses.io gives general health information and guidance written by an AI assistant, helps you understand documents such as test results, helps you find low-cost care, and lets you ask a qualified nurse to look at your question.
It is not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it does not create a doctor–patient or nurse–patient relationship. Read the medical disclaimer.
2. Emergencies
Do not use YourNurses.io in an emergency. Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Nobody watches conversations live, and nurses may not reply straight away.
3. The service is free for patients
People who use YourNurses.io for their own health, or for someone they care for, never pay. Organisations fund the service. Funders do not influence the health content, there is no advertising in medical conversations, and we never sell health data.
4. Accounts
- You do not need an account to ask questions. An account is needed to save conversations, keep documents and set reminders.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Accounts are for people aged [minimum age to be confirmed] and over.
- You can delete your account at any time in your privacy settings.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
5. Using the service fairly
Please don't:
- use the service to harm yourself or anyone else, or to get information to do so;
- try to get around its safety rules, for example with instructions hidden in a message or document;
- upload material you have no right to share, or someone else's health records without their permission;
- overload, scrape or attack the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- pretend to be a healthcare professional or someone else.
To keep the service free, each person has a fair-use limit on how many messages they can send in a short time.
6. What you share
You keep the rights to what you write and upload. You allow us to process it to give you the service, as explained in the privacy notice. We do not use your conversations or documents for advertising.
7. AI answers can be wrong
Answers are written by AI. Although they are checked by a second AI and can cite information our clinical team has reviewed, they can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always check important decisions with a healthcare professional. Directory listings may be out of date; confirm hours and costs with the provider.
8. Healthcare professionals
Professionals who use the nurse desk or Agent Studio must be verified, follow the standards of their licence and country, and agree to a separate professional agreement [to be written]. They remain responsible for their own professional advice.
9. Availability and changes
We try to keep the service running, but it may be unavailable at times, and features can change. Text messages, phone calls and email are only available where they have been set up.
10. Our responsibility to you
[Limitation of liability, consumer-law protections and indemnities to be drafted by a lawyer for each country we operate in.] Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.
11. Law and disputes
[Governing law and dispute resolution to be confirmed.]
12. Contact and changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and tell account holders about important changes. Questions? Use the support page.
